Contraindications.
For your safety, some treatments are not suitable for every situation. This list helps you check your eligibility before booking an appointment.
Before every treatment, a health questionnaire is carried out to confirm the absence of any contraindication. This list is informative and not exhaustive: please mention any pregnancy, breastfeeding, ongoing medical treatment, skin condition or medical device (pacemaker, IUD...) when you contact us. This page is for information only and does not replace a medical consultation, nor the health questionnaire carried out before every treatment.
ADN_01
Microneedling
Contraindications
- Active inflammatory acne
- Recent sunburn
- Certain products applied to the skin (assessed during the preliminary questionnaire)
- Certain ongoing medical treatments
- Any situation that may impair healing or increase infection risk
Indicative protocol: 4 sessions spaced 2 weeks apart.

Laser hair removal
Contraindications
- Pregnancy (contraindicated as a precaution)
- Recent sun exposure, UV or tanning on the area (ideally avoided in the preceding weeks)
- Tattoo on the area to be treated
- Taking photosensitising medication
- Active skin infection or untreated herpes
- Damaged skin, open wound or active inflammation
- History of keloid scarring
- Blood clotting disorders
Precautions / limitations
- Tweezing or waxing should be avoided in the 6 weeks before a session (reduces effectiveness)
- Blonde, red or white hair: less effectively treated by laser (low melanin content)
- Tanned skin: session should be postponed to avoid any risk of burning
Indicative protocol: 6 sessions spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart.

Superficial peel
Contraindications
- Skin-weakening creams used in the week before the treatment
- Retinol used in the week before the treatment
- Isotretinoin treatment (Roaccutane®) in the preceding 4 to 6 months
- Recent topical dermatological treatments (assessed depending on the product used)
- Active dermatitis or skin inflammation
- Aspirin allergy (depending on the type of peel)
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Indicative protocol: 4 sessions spaced 2 weeks apart.

Radiofrequency
Contraindications
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Pacemaker or implanted electronic device
- Metal prostheses or implants in the treated area
- Active skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatosis)
- Keloid scarring
- History of melanoma or skin cancer
Precautions
- Recent hyaluronic acid injection: allow around 3 to 4 weeks between treatments
- Thyroid area to be avoided
Indicative protocol: 6 sessions spaced one week apart.

HIFEM
Contraindications
- Pacemaker
- Metal prostheses in the treated area
- Piercings in the treated area
- Pregnancy
- Copper IUD
- Less than 6 months postpartum
Indicative protocol: 6 sessions, 1 to 2 per week, maintenance recommended every 3 to 4 months

Contraindications
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Pacemaker
- Cold-related conditions (Raynaud's syndrome, cold urticaria, cryoglobulinemia)
- Blood circulation disorders or severe vascular disease
- Blood clotting disorders
- Autoimmune conditions
Precautions
- Open wound, infection or active eczema in the area: treatment to be postponed
- Metal objects (piercings, staples) to be removed before the session
Indicative protocol: 1 session, results at 8-12 weeks.

Korean skincare
Contraindications
- Active herpes or ongoing skin infection
- Wounds, lesions or burns on the area to be treated
- Known allergy to any of the products used
- Significant sun exposure or recent UV exposure
- Ongoing sensitising dermatological treatment
- Recent aesthetic procedure on the area concerned
Aftercare advice
- Do not wash your face immediately after the treatment
- Apply SPF 50 sun protection
- Avoid sun and UV exposure for several days
- Follow the aftercare recommendations given by the practitioner
Indicative protocol: 1 session, immediate result.
